Calorie (TDEE) Calculator
Daily calorie needs for maintenance, and gentle gain targets.
How your calorie needs are estimated
The tool computes BMR with the Mifflin-St Jeor equation, then multiplies by your activity level: sedentary ×1.2, light ×1.375, moderate ×1.55, active ×1.725, very active ×1.9. The result is your maintenance level — the calories at which your weight stays stable.
Using the number well
Calorie needs are estimates with a real margin of error; track how your weight trends over 2–3 weeks and adjust. For personalised nutrition targets, especially with any medical condition, consult a registered dietitian or doctor.
Frequently asked questions
Why do different calculators give different numbers?
They use different equations and activity assumptions. All are estimates — your real-world trend is the ground truth.
